WatchAmy Morrison braved the cold weather on Friday Jan 29, 2010 and made the decision spend a couple hours at the Mushroom boulder located a short five minute walk from the parking lot in Blowing Rock, NC. It was cold… 36* and might have been colder at the boulder. The goal was to film her on a couple of warm-ups and sent projects. The final result is a short about her day at Blowing Rock.
Rumbling Bald!!!
This has been an amazing winter up in the high country! Dry days have come few and far between stretches of wet and cold weather. The best option for climbing has been off the mountain and further south to Lake Lure, North Carolina. The Honda van has logged at least twenty hours worth of driving back and forth between home and the boulder field and even overnight trips are in play.
